WEAVEonline

WEAVEonline is a web-based assessment tool that will help us manage our assessment process.  The tool was developed by Virginia Commonwealth University and currently has more than 130 partnership institutions across the country.

WEAVEonline provides an organizational system for:

  • Planning
  • Documenting
  • Managing documents and data
  • Developing reports
  • Guiding assessment processes
  • Strengthening communication among campus constituencies

WEAVEonline allows us to align and document the following processes:

  • University strategic planning
  • Higher Learning Commission (HLC) Accreditation
  • Specialized or professional accreditation standards, e.g. NCATE, CCNE, ACBSP, etc.
  • Unit/program assessment planning
  • Annual reporting
  • Program reviewing
  • Budgeting

It is an easy-to-use tool—only minimal training is required.  It serves as an electronic template to allow us to enter info such as mission, goals/objectives, expected program/learning outcomes, assessment methods, outcome measures, data utilization and action items. It also serves as a means to communicate and to reflect for the purpose of providing high quality education for our students.
