Student Wellness Center | Health Services

Overview

Health Services is located on the lower level of Mother Teresa Hall and is staffed with a dedicated nurse practitioner weekdays from 8:30am-4:30pm; availability may vary.

Students are encouraged to call the Student Wellness Center at 815-836-5455 to schedule appointments whenever possible.  Although students can walk-in for appointments, wait times may vary depending on clinic demands and nurse practitioner availability as this is a single provider clinic.

We offer care and treatment for minor illness and injuries. The Nurse Practitioner also provides assistance with the Immunization Requirements for College Attendance, and can provide students with information on health resources and referrals in the community, including local Urgent Cares, primary doctors, and our 24/7 telehealth app, TimelyCare.

Common symptoms we treat:

  • Cold/flu symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat
  • Ear aches
  • Urinary tract infections (UTI)
  • Eye irritations or redness such as pink eye
  • Minor wounds
  • Limited STI testing
