Office of Multicultural Student Services

Multicultural Achievement Program

The Office of Multicultural Student Services is committed to assisting students in achieving a successful college education in a diverse and culturally enriched environment.

The Success Program is designed to provide on-going mentoring and academic support services to students who do not meet the minimum requirements. Standard university requirements are waived for those applicants accepted into the success program who have determination and motivation to learn and overcome all educational obstacles.

The Multicultural Achievement Program is limited to new students accepted in the Success Program, who are invited to complete the application process and are selected for participation in the program.

College Success Network

Lewis University's Multicultural Achievement Program is funded by the Associated Colleges of Illinois through its College Success Network.

  • The College Success Network serves to assist diverse, first-generation and low-income students through college.
  • It provides resources and support to help students complete college successfully.
  • This mission is fulfilled by partnering with member campuses and is offered to students throughout their college careers, making the College Success Network a four-year opportunity.
