Lewis University Cyber Defense Team Prepares for Fall Competition with Strong Spring Finish

Building on the momentum of a 13th-place finish out of 480 teams nationally in the Spring 2024 National Cyber League (NCL) competition, Lewis University’s Cyber Defense team is gearing up for another successful run in the upcoming Fall NCL season.
The Lewis University team, composed of Nicolas Formella, David Simeone, Jayson Rey Yabes, Jared Saari, and Kacper Zalewski, showcased exceptional talent and dedication under the guidance of team coach Dr. Jason Perry, associate professor of Engineering, Computing, and Mathematical Sciences and program director of Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
