Lewis Women's Track and Field Earns All-Academic Team, 18 Named All-Academic Athlete by USTFCCCA

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its women's track and field All-Academic Athletes and All-Academic Teams Monday (July 15), with Lewis earning the team honor and placing 18 student-athletes on the list of honorees.The Flyers, led by head coach Dana Schwarting, posted a team GPA of 3.52, well past the bar of 3.0, won both the indoor and outdoor GLVC Championships this season, sent three student-athletes to the NCAA Indoor Championships and four student-athletes to the NCAA Outdoor Championships.Lewis' individual Academic All-Americans included sophomores Aubrey Brinkman (Mapleton, IL/) and Madilyn Calloway (Rochester, IN/Rochester Community), junior Rebecca Cravedi (Piacenza, Italy), freshman Eliana Culpepper (Minooka/Minooka, IL), sophomore Kate Guderjan (Frankfort, IL/Lincolnway East), sophomore Brynlee Keeran (Catlin, IL/), senior siblings Abigail Kozak (Lockport, IL/) and Anna Kozak (Lockport, IL/Lockport Township), freshman Karmen Kurowicka (Itasca, IL/Lake Park), sophomore Khristel Martindale (Bridgetown, Barbados/), junior Aurore Mur (Lescout, France), graduate student Rose Ogbuli (Plainfield, IL/Plainfield East), senior Caroline Pacer-Ryan (Wheaton, IL/West Chicago), graduate student Darby Roth (Doylestown, Penn.), sophomore Hannah Smrcka (Cory, PA/Cory), graduate student Juliana Stogsdill (Plainfield, Ill.), graduate student Aliza Van Den Elzen (Hortonville, WI/Hortonville) and senior Faith Wyman (Trenton, IL/Trenton (Wesclin)).FULL ALL-ACADEMIC ATHLETES LIST Lewis University is an innovative Catholic university offering market-relevant undergraduate and graduate programs to 6,500 students.
