Lewis University Innovation Hub Relaunches with Ribbon Cutting Event

Lewis University celebrated the relaunch of its Innovation Hub with a ribbon cutting on November 7 on its Romeoville campus.  

Romeoville Mayor John Noak, John Wightkin, coordinator of Innovation Hub and Stahl Center for Entrepreneurship, Ryan Butt, dean of the College of Business, and Amna Tasneem – Lewis University student and Innovation Hub client, spoke during the celebration attended by the Lewis University community, local businesses and organizations, and government officials. 

The Lewis University Innovation Hub is a co-working space and incubator that provides entrepreneurs and small businesses with the resources and support they need to succeed. The Hub offers a variety of services, including co-working space, conference rooms, event space, access to expert advisors, and other resources. 

The Innovation Hub was first launched in 2018, but it was closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hub reopened in September 2023 with a new focus on supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses in Will County.
