Psychology Faculty Share Expertise with Others

Dr. Lili Burciaga, assistant professor of psychology, provided a professional development webinar for Counselors for Social Justice National Division of the American Counseling Association on March 24. The webinar was titled, "Addressing Elements of White Supremacy in Counselor Education: A Curriculum Model for Decentering Whiteness".

Also, Burciaga recently accepted an invitation to join the Editorial Review Board of Trauma Counseling and Resilience, the official journal of the International Association for Resilience and Trauma Counseling (IARTC). 

Dr. Kimberly Duris, associate professor of psychology, was recognized by the Illinois Association of School Administrators of DuPage County for her volunteer work as a school board member for Roselle District 12. 

Also, Dr. Katherine Helm, psychology professor and director of the graduate program, and Duris have written the book, "What You Need to Know About Personality Disorders".
