National Organizations Recognize Lewis University

The annual nationwide rankings of colleges and universities have been released and U.S News & World Report, The Princeton Review, Washington Monthly and Forbes rank Lewis University as one of the best universities in the Midwest.

U.S. News & World Report included Lewis University on several of its rankings.

The Princeton Review also includes Lewis University among its 158 "Best Midwestern” section of the website resource, 2022 Best Colleges: Region by Region. Selections are based on six categories – academics, admissions selectivity, financial aid, fire safety, quality of life and green.

Washington Monthly ranked Lewis University as the second-best private university in Illinois. The publication analyzes four-year liberal arts institutions based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories - social mobility, research, and promoting public service.

Forbes’ Top Colleges List included Lewis University as being in the top 15 percent of all degree-granting postsecondary institutions in the U.S. The annual review of undergraduate institutions that deliver the top academics, best experiences, career success and lowest debt looks at a school’s overall value for a family. Lewis University made Forbes’ lists for Top Colleges 2021, In Private Colleges and In the Midwest.
