Expert Panel Discusses Democracy on February 23

A panel of Lewis University experts will discuss the state of American democracy in 2021 at 4 p.m. CST Tuesday, February 23 online. Visit to listen and ask questions. 

Dr. Christopher Sindt, provost, will serve as the moderator. He will lead a conversation on how political ideologies are formed and what role they play. They will also discuss how successful our democracy is in treating all votes equally.

Panelists include

  • Dr. Laurette Liesen, chair and professor of political science
  • Dr. Joseph Kozminski, chair and professor of physics
  • Dr. Mark Schultz, professor of history
