Dr. Markovic Attends Multiple United Nations Events
Published: December 15, 2020.Dr. Vesna Markovic, chair and associate professor of Justice, Law and Public Safety Studies, was invited to serve as an observer at the second inter-sessional meeting of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption on preparations for the special session of the General Assembly against corruption (2021) which was held in November. She is representing the International Police Executive Symposium (IPES) as their observer.
Markovic also was invited to attend the UN Secretary-General’s UNiTE Campaign to End Violence against Women - United Nations Official Commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women online conference on November 25.
