Lewis Rome Program Begins Another Semester

Lewis University students and faculty are in Rome, Italy during the spring 2020 semester participating in the Lewis University Rome Program at Lasallian Universities Center for Education (LUCE). Lewis University coordinates the study abroad program, currently in its third year. 

A total of 15 students are studying in Rome, 11 from Lewis, two from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, one from Universidad La Salle Pachuca in Mexico and one from De La Salle University in the Philippines. 

Course offerings include Lasallian Community and Social Action, Christian Ethics/Ethical Business, Christian Faith and the Arts, and International Economics and Finance, along with courses in Italian language, history, art and literature. 

Three professors from Italy and one from France have joined four Lewis University professors on the faculty. Lewis University faculty members include Dr. Joanne Kuttner (Theology), Dr. Frank Rose (Business), Brother Peter Hannon (History) and Dr. Dennis Cremin (History).
