The Lewis University cheerleading squad finished fourth in the All Girl Division II competition at the National Cheerleading Association Collegiate (NCA) National Championships on April 12th in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Lewis posted the fourth-best score with 83.55 points while California Baptist University (94.18) won the overall event.
“We went into the competition very well prepared, coming off a great show-off here at Lewis,” Lewis head cheerleading coach Carla Johnson said. “After stopping the routine for an injury, we had an amazing routine to finish fourth in the All Girl Division II.”
