  1. VISIT THE CAMPUS [ + ]

If you have not already done so, we encourage you to visit the beautiful Lewis University campus as soon as possible. Register for an individual visit to meet with an admissions counselor one-on-one or select another visit option to see the Lewis University campus in person before attending classes.  If you still have questions please contact the Office of Admission at (815) 836-5250.

  2. APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID [ + ]

If you wish to receive Federal Student Aid, please complete a FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. Our school code is 001707. Please contact the Financial Aid Office directly at (815) 836-5263 or via email at finaid@lewisu.edu.

  3. ACCESS YOUR FINANCIAL AID AWARD [ + ]

Use the myLewis portal for review of all financial aid documents and awards. To access the Financial Aid tab select the Financial Aid icon, then scroll down to the section “Financial Aid Awards” and select “Accept Financial Aid Award Offer” to review. In order to receive your Federal loan and/or Federal work study you must accept those awards in your myLewis portal.

NOTE: You should have received a letter from the Office of Admission with your myLewis portal username and password.

  4. SUBMIT YOUR DEPOSIT [ + ]

Login to the myLewis portal and use the New Student user type.  Follow steps 1 thru 5 to secure your enrollment with Lewis. This includes the $150 tuition deposit.
All deposits are refundable until May 1 for fall enrollment or December 1 for spring.

  5. SECURE YOUR SPOT IN CAMPUS HOUSING [ + ]

If you plan to live on campus, login to the myLewis portal and submit the online housing application. Housing Applications will only be considered complete once the application form and tuition deposit have been received.  Housing assignments for new students are made on a first come first serve basis and will be sent to students in late May or early June.

As a reminder, Lewis University requires all full-time first and second year students (0-59 credits earned) whose permanent address is outside the 30 mile radius of the Romeoville campus to live on campus. Click here for more information.

  6. PARTICIPATE IN NEW FLYER ORIENTATION [ + ]

Our New Flyer Registration program will get you started with your Lewis Experience by providing academic advising, assisting with class registration and more. Admitted students will receive email communication from the Office of Admission about New Flyer Registration dates as they become available.

  9. SUBMIT YOUR IMMUNIZATION RECORDS [ + ]

Please review the State of Illinois Immunization Requirements for College Attendance.

    Helpful Tips about Immunization Requirements:

    • All students enrolled in six or more credit hours on the Romeoville campus must provide evidence of the State of Illinois immunization requirements for college attendance.
    • These requirements are separate from any athletics or program-specific requirements, and it is the responsibility of the student to submit the required immunization records before the semester deadline (Fall semester: September 1st, Spring semester: February 1st). Students who have not submitted proof of all required immunizations by the compliance deadline will have a registration hold placed on their student account, which will prevent any future class registration or schedule changes. The hold cannot be removed until ALL requirements have been met.
    • Lewis University has partnered with Med+Proctor for immunization record verification. You must use your Lewis University email address and myLewis credentials to create your account. Please refer to our website, which includes details on the immunization requirements, submission process and instructions on how to register for your Med+Proctor account.
  10. PREPARE FOR CLASS [ + ]

You can find the dates for the first day of classes, finals, and everything in between on the Lewis Academic Calendar.

    Still have questions?
