This transformative week is made possible through a dynamic partnership between Lewis University and Instituto Fe y Vida, both deeply rooted in Lasallian ministry and committed to the formation of young people. Hosted on the beautiful campus of Lewis University, this program offers teens a unique opportunity to grow in faith and leadership within a vibrant, collegiate environment. The university setting provides an inspiring backdrop for learning, reflection, and community-building, immersing participants in an atmosphere that encourages academic and spiritual exploration. Through this collaboration, Engaging Stories continues to be a transformative experience where Latino teens and youth ministers can encounter faith, culture, and their life’s call in a meaningful way. FIRST TIME

Teens in the first time formation track, Engaging Stories101, will embark on an exciting journey where faith meets discovery! This experience introduces theology as an academic study while deepening their relationship with God, themselves, and others. Through engaging dialogues, hands-on activities, and meaningful reflections, they’ll uncover how faith connects with their everyday lives in powerful ways. But that’s just the beginning! Alongside new friends, they’ll explore the endless possibilities for their life’s call—whether in leadership, service, or personal growth. With a supportive community cheering them on, they’ll gain the tools and confidence to step boldly into their future. This is more than just a program—it’s an unforgettable adventure of faith, friendship, and self-discovery!

RETURNING

Building upon the foundation of their first year, returning teens will continue exploring how God is calling them to respond in their everyday lives—at home, school, work, faith communities, and society. Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, they’ll gain deeper insight into their unique gifts and purpose.
In the afternoons, teens can select one of three dynamic workshops that will be their focus for the entire week:

YOUTH MINISTERS

are invited to join the Engaging Stories week-long experience, either by accompanying their teens or attending as observers to explore bringing teens in the future.
Throughout the week, Youth Ministers have the flexibility to:

• Participate in daily sessions and activities alongside their teens, deepening their shared experience.
• Take time for personal reflection and renewal, stepping away to recharge spiritually.
• Engage in dedicated Youth Minister conversations, processing presentations and activities together.
• Network with other ministry leaders, exchanging ideas, best practices, and strategies for effective youth ministry.
