Gothic Terror, Gothic Horror will take place at Lewis University, whose main campus is located in Romeoville, Illinois, approximately 45 minutes southwest of downtown Chicago.

Traveling from Beyond the Midwest

Chicago O’Hare International Airport, the world’s sixth-busiest airport, offers direct flights from over 200 destinations in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. O’Hare is approximately 40 minutes from Lewis University. Rental cars are available at the airport, as is public transportation to and from downtown Chicago.

Chicago Midway International Airport, which serves over 22 million passengers a year and is home to Southwest Airlines, is about 35 minutes away from Lewis University. Rental cars are available at the airport, as is public transportation to and from downtown Chicago.

Parking

Free on-campus parking will be available for those who drive to campus, or who choose to rent cars. Those staying on campus should park near the dormitories, in Lot X or Lot Y. Those not staying on campus should park in Lot D. For the locations of campus parking lots, consult the campus map.

Airport Transportation Information

Limited complimentary shuttles will be provided for IGA attendees from O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport to Lewis University on Monday 7/29/19 and Tuesday 7/30/19.

O’Hare Airport Shuttles will pick up at the Bus/Shuttle Center, located on Level One of the Main Parking Garage between Elevators 3 and 4.

Midway Airport Shuttles will pick up at the Charter Bus/Off-Site Parking Shuttle Area, located on the Lower Level (through the Parking Garage). This area should be accessed through Terminal Door 5.

The IGA Shuttle will either be a Lewis University bus or a Windy City bus with an IGA Conference sign.

Monday shuttles will stop at both Lewis University and the Aloft hotel. Tuesday shuttles will go directly to Lewis University, where attendees may securely and temporarily store their luggage if necessary.
