Lunch – Chill Out & Grill Out

(Last meal that is complimentary) Grab your grilled lunch under the Pavilion! Hot dogs& burgers to your liking! Then enjoy the music, play Frisbee on the University Green, join in sand-volleyball & outdoor basketball in The Backyard and socialize! – University Green.

Intramural Co-Ed Flag Football

The TURF is where it’s at! Join in the competitive 7 on 7 tournaments. Champions will receive T-Shirts. *Team sign up is from 1 - 1:15 p.m., max
of 9 total players per team. – Multipurpose Recreation Athletic Complex (The Turf Field!).

Service Trips
Serve the local community with fellow Lewis students. This is a chance for you to learn more about the various service opportunities Lewis offers throughout the academic year. For more information or to sign-up, please see your Peer Minister. Space is limited and transportation is provided. Departs from Front of the LRC.

Shuttles to Target, Walmart and the Louis Joliet Mall
Need a few more things from the store? You will get a bus schedule when you get on the bus. Buses depart at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. & 4 p.m. – Parking Lot G.

Fitness Class Sampler

Jump into this fitness class and get a taste of the different kinds of classes we offer during the year! Each sample will be about 20 minutes and include: Ab Lab, Zumba, RIPPED, PIYO and Abs, Glutes, and Thighs – Aerobics Studio/SRFC.

Explore (Laughter) Lewis Laff-Fest Comedy Dinner Show
Students will start using meal cards, cash or credit cards to purchase meals the rest of the weekend, so come and enjoy dinner with a laugh or two! Enjoy tacos, enchiladas, nachos, chimichangas and taco salads with all your favorite fixings. Don’t forget the Churros! – Charlie’s Place.

Lewis University Women’s Volleyball kicks off the year with this special showcase for you! Come and get a taste of NCAA Division II Volleyball during this red & white scrimmage! – Neil Carey Arena.

Join in as the MSS staff will be programming something fun and interactive. TBD. – Student Union Commons.

Fitness & Fun
Take advantage of playing a game of sand volleyball outside or join in a game of pick-up basketball inside. Dive in to the Lewis swimming pool or workout in the Fitness Center! – SRFC (Fieldhouse).

JAVA Detour

Enjoy free snacks, beverages, and music around the fireplace while relaxing and talking with fellow students. Games such as dominoes, chess, cards,
etc. are available to play. Java Detour is open every Thursday during the year from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is a great place to study and to hang out during
the day. – D’Arcy Great Room.

LMNOPLT

Late Night Meisner of the Philip Lynch Theatre. Meisner is an acting technique that takes on a form of improv theatre that creates comedy and blindside
humor when you are least expecting it. LNMOPLT is a new group on campus and will have monthly performances throughout the year. If you enjoy watching improv theatre or standup comedy, this is the event for you! – Philip Lynch Theatre.

Throw Back Trivia: Do you know it all? 
Join a team and put your mind to the test as our quiz masters stump students with questions about movies, music, and more.  Prizes will be awarded to the top team.  – Flyers Den.
