Overview

Welcome Days help to make your transition to Lewis as smooth as possible.

When you attend Welcome Days, you will find a wide variety of sessions, events, and social gatherings to help you get to know campus better, find answers to your questions, and make new friends.

We want you to have fun and learn about your new home.

    Lewis University Offices Open
    Business Office will be open at 9:00am

    9am - 4:00pm

    Freshman Resident Student Check-In/Move-In
    New resident students living on campus should plan to arrive for Welcome Days registration and move in. 

    Check-in at your Residence Hall

    Immunization Requirements Review Including Meningococcal Vaccination Information/Recommendations
    Meet one on one with our Health Center staff RN’s to review your immunization records and make sure that you are all up to date and protected before the start of the semester.

    Come in during or after you help your Lewis Student move in for some light refreshments

    Financial Aid Completion Workshop
    The Financial Aid Staff will help students complete their Direct Loan Paperwork for 2013-2014: Master Promissory Note (MPN), Entrance Interview, and learn how to access student account.  Please bring your FAFSA PIN.

    1pm - 3:30pm

    Freshman Commuter Student Check-In
    New Commuter students will check in and stay on campus for the night.  Plan to arrive for Welcome Days check-in between 1pm - 3:30pm.

    Meet with your RA’s and Peers in your residence halls for some introductions and information for the next couple of days.

    Meet your neighbors and make new friends.  The RA’s and Peers will have some games and snacks ready for you to settle in at your new home.

    Dive in to the Lewis swimming pool or workout in the fitness center! Check out a basketball or volleyball from the Front Desk of the Recreation Center and play a pickup game inside the Fieldhouse or outside and at the sand volleyball pit.

    This topic has been prominent in the media lately.  In this presentation you will find out what you need to know about sexual assault and how to keep yourself and others safe from harm.

    Join the Intramurals Refs in a pick-up game of Sand Volleyball.  Good times are sure to be had by all!

    Fitness Class Sampler
    Jump into this fitness class and get a taste of the different kinds of classes we offer during the year.  Each sample will last about 20 minutes and includes: Ab Lab, Zumba, Lower Body Blast, Cardio Sculpt, and Yoga.

    Based on the cult classic film by George A. Romero, this zombie-thon is a delightfully skewed send-up of one of the most beloved science fiction genres of all time. Fast-paced and packed with contagious humor, you’ll laugh yourself to death over these horrifically and hysterically misunderstood flesh-eating monsters. Dedicated to the zombie in all of us!  Lewis student tickets $2.
