Mission and Planning

The Office of Mission and Planning is responsible for Mission integration and effectiveness in all areas of the university. In collaboration with the Mission and Heritage Council, the Office provides services and activities including individual mission orientation for all new faculty, staff and administrators, information for mission advertising and interviewing, mission oriented convocations, group mission orientations, and mission review luncheons. The Office of Mission and Planning also works collaboratively with the President’s Office on special projects and some university events.

The Office is also charged with facilitating all institutional planning for the university. The priority is the Strategic Plan which is prepared for and distributed to the university community following approval by the Board of Trustees. The Office of Mission and Planning collaborates with other units of the university in the preparation and the implementation of all new planning initiatives.
