Student Blackboard
Lewis University's on-line course management system is Blackboard,
a networked application accessible from any web browser. Blackboard is
used to teach on-line courses available at Lewis University or as a
tool used by faculty to supplement classroom instruction. Students are
assigned a Blackboard account shortly after registering for
their first class at Lewis.
Accessing Blackboard:
- Go to http://www.lewisu.edu/bb
- If you registered for any class
before 8/31/2009, your username
should be: the first 6 letters of your last name plus the first 2
letters of your first name, all
lowercase.
Your password is the same as your
username.
- If you registered for your first class at Lewis
after 8/31/2009, your username will be
the first part of your Lewis email address. Your username should
be your first name followed by middle initial then last name
truncated at 18 characters with
no spaces.
Your password is your Lewis University ID
number.
Changing Your Blackboard
Password:
- Click on the Student tab at the top of the
page.
- Click on Personal
Information under Tools on the left
side of the page.
- Click on Change Password.
- Enter your new password twice. NOTE: Your password is case
sensitive.
- Click Submit.
Changing Your Personal Information/
Email Address:
- Click on the Student tab at the top of the
page.
- Click on Personal
Information under Tools on the left
side of the page.
- Click on Edit Personal Information.
- Change the desired information.
- Click Submit.
