Voice-Mail System
Each residence hall room is assigned an extension, which is attached to
one phone jack. You can connect any type of analog phone, including
cordless and feature sets.
University Telephone Service Includes:
- Call waiting/3-way calling.
- Call forwarding.
- Free, 4-digit dialing for campus extensions.
- Voice mail, with customizable greetings.
- Message-waiting indicator.
You may connect an answering machine to the phone. However, it will not
take messages while you are on the phone and it will not receive important
broadcast messages sent from the University. Therefore, you may want
to maintain your University voice mailbox.
