Background Check Policy
Policy #6.1040 All information provided by an applicant during the pre-employment process, including on an Application for Employment, a resume, a reference list, or in an interview is subject to verification. Falsification of any information provided will subject an employee to immediate dismissal of employment. Applicants for positions in the Conferences and Events unit must successfully complete a background check conducted by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services to be eligible for employment in that unit. The background check is a necessary safeguard due to the contact with children the employees of Conferences and Events may have through the offering of camps and other such events. |
