75th Anniversary

The 1970s and 1980s saw the growth of diversity on the Lewis campus as students of many races, nationalities, and religions enrolled in steadily increasing numbers. Lewis became a university officially in 1973, and the new name (with an "LU" logo) was proclaimed on the sign at Route 53 where students gathered for a photo.
