Student Organization Fair 2005

The 4th annual Student Organization Fair was held on Wednesday, September 7. Forty-two organizations participated. The fair provides students with an opportunity to speak to representatives from each organization and find out meetings times, the organization’s mission and the benefits of belonging and becoming active on campus.

Belonging to an organization is the intern to the classroom experience. Students who are active and run for office or head committees are able to develop leadership, interpersonal, time management and conflict negotiation skills. Students also have the opportunity to formulate relationships with faculty/staff who can provide excellent references to internships or jobs.

Always remember that college is only what you make it!
