Philip Lynch Theatre

ear Theatre-goer,

A major aspect of actor and theatre designer training is the development of the student’s imagination. It is always a joy to work on a play or musical and see Lewis students use their imaginations to create the character, scene, lighting, or costume design. Watercolor Artwork by Jane StikerThe script is our blank canvas – words and meanings. However, the students use their imaginations to flesh out the characters and make artistic and informative choices in order to tell the story in the most exciting and vivid way.

I hope you’ll join us for the five blank canvases we are working on for this next season. We will strive to inspire both our students’ imaginations and yours.
