TheLewisFlyer.com earned an honorable mention from Student Society for News Design in the 2014 Overall News Website category. The 26th annual College News Design contest was hosted at the Missouri School of Journalism. TheLewisFlyer.com is the online student-run newspaper for Lewis University.
Judges for the contest included Julie Elman, associate professor in the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University; Luke Seemann, digital designer and developer for Chicago Magazine; and Larry Buchanan, graphics editor for The New York Times.
TheLewisFlyer.com recently won first place in the “Best in Show” contest at the 23rd Annual Associated Collegiate Press Best of the Midwest College Journalism Convention held in Minneapolis.
