Lewis University will be hosting an information session Sept. 23 about the two-year Master of Arts in School Counseling cohort for LaSalle County beginning in January 2014. The cohort program will meet one night a week and be conveniently located at the Illinois Valley Community College.

The Information Session will be held from 5-6 PM Sept. 23 in room C316 at Illinois Valley Community College. Register for the event at: http://bit.ly/1cKCZZY.

The School Counseling program seeks to integrate sound counseling theory and practical school counseling experience to prepare students to work effectively in a K-12 setting. Upon completion of the program, students will receive their Master of Arts in School Counseling which makes them eligible for the Type 73 School Counseling Specialist Certificate.
