The Lewis University Mediation Team competed in the 4th Annual Peacemaker Mediation Tournament Oct. 27-28 at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Overall, the Lewis University team won nine of 12 individual awards and five of 10 team awards.
In Mediation, Jake Garringer won first place, Cary Hansing and Tiffany Wasilewski won second place and Matt Vasquez won third place. In Advocacy, Jake Garringer and Oliver Estrada won first place; Sean Lenkus and Tiffany Wasilewski won second place along with Ben Pavur and Tiffany Wasilewski; Ben Pavur and Sean Lenkus won third place along with Cody Curin and Brianna Diaz.
Team awards in Mediation were given to Olivia Estrada, Matt Vasquez, and Jake Garringer for third place in Mediation; Sean Lenckus, Ben Pavur, and Tiffany Wasilewski for fourth place in Mediation. Team awards in Advocacy were given to Sean Lenckus, Tiffany Wasilewski and Ben Pavur for first place; Cody Curin, Cary Hansing and Brianna Diaz for second place; Jake Garringer, Olivia Estrada and Matt Vasquez for fourth place.

The Lewis University Mediation Teamís performance qualified two teams to compete at the national championship in Gainesville, Ga.
