|‘Vestiges’ Artwork by Carol Luc displayed April 1-26 at Lewis University Art Gallery

Lewis University will host a special reception for “Vestiges” by Carol Luc at 7 p.m. on April 25 in the Art Gallery, located at the university’s main campus in Romeoville. The show will be on display from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends April 1-26.
“Vestiges” will highlight the urban architecturally themed paintings and prints of Luc. The paintings and prints have been exhibited nationally.
Luc, a resident of Chicago, received a master’s degree in painting from Northern Illinois University and a master’s degree in painting from Wayne State University. She teaches courses in undergraduate design and illustration at the American Academy of Art. Her work is in public collections including the David and Sarajean Ruttenberg collection, Kishwaukee and Harper Colleges and the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago and has been published in Art Scene Chicago, Northern Now, Chicago Tribune and Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet.
