|Lewis University packs presidential punch

Lewis University’s Philip Lynch Theatre (PLT) presents “44 Plays for 44 Presidents” by Andy Bayiates, Sean Benjamin, Genevra Gallo-Bayiates, Chloe Johnston, and Karen Weinberg. “44 Plays for 44 Presidents” is a satirical survey of the lives and presidencies of each of the 44 men who have held the office. In conjunction with the 2012 Presidential election, no fewer than 44 theatres, from all over the country will produce “44 Plays for 44 Presidents” as part of the Plays for Presidents Festival 2012. The show opens Friday, November 9 and runs until Sunday, November 18.
This show is recommended for patrons thirteen years old and up and will run November 9-11 and November 15-18. Evening performances begin at 8 p.m., while Sunday matinees begin at 2:30 p.m. A 4 p.m. matinee will be performed on Saturday, November 17. Advanced ticket purchases are strongly encouraged. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 dollars for seniors and students and $2 for Lewis students with their student IDs. Tickets are $8 for groups of fifteen or more, a savings of more than ten percent off the original ticket price. Tickets are non-refundable.
