Lewis' Fuller Named CoSIDA Women's Soccer Third Team Academic All-American

Published: December 7, 2017.

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced on Wednesday (Dec. 6) that Lewis University senior Mackenzie Fuller (Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Third Team.

Fuller maintained a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA in economics following the Spring '17 semester.

She finished the season with one goal and two assists this year and was also a Third Team Academic All-America selection last year.

"I'm really happy for Mac to be recognized for her efforts on and off the field," head Lewis women's soccer coach Chris Koenig said. "It is difficult to excel as a student while being a college athlete.
"She has been as consistent a performer in the classroom as you could ever ask for. For her to be recognized again this year is a testament to her hard work and consistency. I am really proud of her and appreciate how well she has represented our program and Lewis University."
