Roving Librarians Bring Research Help Outside the Library

Need research help? The Librarian is IN at St. Charles Borromeo, Oak Brook, De La Salle, Benilde, and the Arts & Sciences Building.

Need research help, but can’t make it to the Library during regular hours? Never fear: the roving librarians are here!

You can meet with a research librarian at the following locations:

St. Charles Borromeo

Lewis’ business librarian, Lindsay Harmon, provides on-site research assistance for CoB/GSM students (and others) in the Stahl Center (SB 132A, right by the Sodexo food cart) during the following hours:

  • Mondays from 4-6 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 12-2 p.m.

Research assistance is available on a drop-in basis or by appointment at lewisu.libguides.com/harmonli.

Arts & Sciences Building

Education and social sciences librarian Kelley Plass meets with students by appointment at several different locations on the main campus. Students requesting an appointment can specify the location that’s most convenient for them.

STEM and nursing librarian Betsy Sterner is available to meet with students at the Oak Brook campus by appointment on Mondays from 4-6 p.m.

De-stress with Tippi Tuesdays

Tippi Tuesdays

Lewis University’s favorite therapy dog is back for another semester of providing stress relief to students.

Tippi the Norwegian Elkhound will be in the Library on the first and third Tuesday of every month when classes are in session. Mark your calendar for these dates:

  • February 6
  • February 20
  • March 20
  • April 3
  • April 17
  • May 1

You can find her on the first floor of the Library from 6 to 8 p.m.
