Tired of wandering the campus in search of a private place to work on your group project?
Sick of your little brother heckling you while you’re practicing your presentation?
Wish you had a guaranteed spot to do some last-minute cramming with your study group before your midterm exam?
You’re in luck: Introducing group study room reservations at the Lewis University Library!
Groups of 2 to 12 students can book one of our group study rooms to study for exams, rehearse presentations, or work on group projects. All rooms are equipped with a whiteboard, DVD player, and flat screen TV.
Study rooms are available from the time the Library opens until one half-hour before closing time. Study Rooms 2, 3, and 4 are available for reservation online (at least 12 hours in advance) and by phone (anytime). Groups can reserve and use the study rooms for up to 3 hours per day.
(Procrastinator? Don’t worry! Study Room 1 is still available on a first-come, first-served basis for drop-in study sessions. You can also call the library to make same-day reservations.)
Study rooms for the use of current Lewis students for academic purposes only. Two or more students must be present to check out and occupy a study room, and the study room must be occupied by at least one member of the group at all times.
