It can be supremely frustrating when you think you’ve found the most perfect article for your project, but then you find out there is a PAYWALL.
Don’t go full Vader just yet! There is Interlibrary Loan. And? It’s FREE!
You just need to look up your article in our new Primo discovery tool (make sure you have selected the “Expand My Results” check box in the upper left corner of the screen. Then select the permalink for your article and click “Request Article via Interlibrary Loan form” at the top of your screen.
It will look like this:
Then simply fill out the form as completely as you can. You should receive your article or chapter for FREE within 3-5 business days!

Open the article and on the right-hand side of the page is a “Request” button. Please click this.
A new page will open, and also on the right-hand side is a link that says: “Request via Interlibrary Loan.”
A form will open and you will need to fill this out with your full name and email, and then the article will be delivered to you via your Lewis email in 3-5 days.
If the article doesn’t appear within the first few results, please check the box titled: “Add
results beyond your library’s collection.” This will search beyond the
library’s resources. Your article should then appear and can be
requested using the method above or accessed by other means.
You may have gotten a notice about fines and fees incurred from physical or other items you may have used. Please do not worry about it. Once we reopen, we will have access to our systems and we will waive fines when items are returned.
