Ten Best Colleges for Jobs in Illinois

There are so many college ranking lists compiled these days, it is hard to keep track of all them. However, this list caught my attention because they utilize data from the Department of Education and the College Scorecard.

The Department of Education is able to track all federal aid recipients by college attended and align that information with future income tax filings (welcome to the world of big data!). Zippia, used the information from the College Scorecard and IPEDS (another federal data source) to aggregate the information by college to establish a benchmark to rank colleges based on the success of their graduates in finding a job.

I was most curious about Illinois colleges but quickly discovered they have complied a list for every state.

With so many variables to consider when choosing a college this is just one piece of the puzzle. I thought it might be a helpful resource for you to utilize.
