Is Winter Over Yet?
Monday, February 13th, 2012Hello again! So much has happened in just a few short weeks and the semester is zipping by, inching closer to spring break. Big Brothers/ Big Sisters has started and continues into its 3rd week. The program continues to have great success. For those of you who don’t know what it is all about, each student in the grammar school program is paired up with a Lewis student and one-on-one mentoring continues for about an hour every week. This privately funded organization helps so many kids around the world and the Lewis chapter continues to do the same.
Intramurals continues to have a great impact on the university as 5 v. 5 basketball has come to an end and the great Arena Football league is set to begin on Monday. The games will be played on the basketball courts in the field house in one of the most epic intramural sports the university has to offer.
Overall, classes are going great and I continue to enrich my business horizon. Peer Ministry is also a blast. Happy College Hunting!
