Our low tuition makes Lewis University the most affordable Catholic university in Chicago and one of the most affordable private colleges in all of Illinois. On top of that, more than 85% of our students receive some sort of financial aid to attend.

Transfer-Only Grants and Scholarships

Plus, we offer special grants and scholarships exclusively reserved for our traditional transfer students. A student must be enrolled full-time at Lewis and have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA in order to be eligible to receive these scholarships.

Christian Brothers Achievement Awards

• Awarded at the time of admission to Lewis, based on cumulative GPA
• Scholarship amounts vary between $6,000 and $7,000 per year

Phi Theta Kappa

• $1,000 scholarship awarded to members of Phi Theta Kappa at the community college
• Must submit proof of membership by first day of enrollment at Lewis University
