The Master of Science in Public Safety Administration requires 36 credit hours to complete. When you finish the coursework, you must pass a Comprehensive Program Examination. The degree can be completed in one year, but generally takes two.

The campus-based program offers accelerated coursework and flexible scheduling. Courses are scheduled year round, six times per year, and each course lasts eight weeks. Class sessions are scheduled in four-hour periods once a week, with day and evening options. You can take classes at several locations around the Chicago area:

For public safety and military professionals who can't attend courses, Lewis offers coursework that's completely online. This program features a pre-scheduled cohort in which students complete one course at a time.
