Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission to the RN/BSN program, you must meet several requirements.

  • You must be currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois.

  • You must have graduated from a state-approved nursing program, such as a diploma program, associate degree program or foreign nursing program. Up to 72 semester hours can be transferred from a community college. 

  • You must have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

  • You must submit an application and official transcripts from all previous academic programs.
