7 Habits/Conquer It All, A Leadership Journey
This seminar provides students with an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be effective and identify priorities in their life. Through concepts, activities and theories students have the opportunity to create their own personal mission statement. Topics include: identifying the things that bring you joy in life, believing in our own power, creating tribute statements, discovering what activities have the greatest worth in life, documenting principles and values that are important, and creating an action plan to achieve living the life we choose.

Personal Leadership Assessment
This seminar provides students with the opportunity to complete, and have others complete, a 360-degree leadership assessment instrument. The "best case" would be for each student, a student's boss, peers and subordinates to complete this tool evaluating the individual student. Some students will not have all subordinates and may use a different category. Assessments will be completed and submitted prior to the seminar. Assessments will be processed and summary data provided at the seminar. There will be opportunities at the seminar for students to review their summaries, meet with others and discuss findings, and create an action plan on what areas they want to work on over the next year. Topics include: Career Transition, reinventing ourselves, implications of different leadership styles, action plans for the future.

Coaching: Myers-Briggs
This seminar provides on-going follow-up to the previous seminar. This seminar will not meet on campus, but rather students will complete pre-seminar assignments related to their own personal leadership development plan created in the previous seminar, and participate in a 2-hour group conference call (limited to 8 students and a Certified Coach) to discuss operationalization of the plan, challenges, and how things might be improved. Topics include the pre-reading of articles, setting up an alliance with your employees, mastering your personal power, moving your life forward and taking action and other topics students indicate they would like to discuss.

Advanced Oral Communication
This seminar will attempt to assist students in strengthening their oral communication skills for business. A balance of theory and practice will be provided.

Team Development :5 Dysfunctions of a Team
The purpose of this training is to provide individuals and intact teams with useful concepts and practical tools for increasing team effectiveness. Specifically, team members learn about team basics and the characteristics of effective teams as well as a model for team development. In addition, they are given many opportunities to apply specific team development methods, tools and activities.

Conflict Management/Negotiation
This practical seminar covers the basic theories involved in Negotiating Win-Win Outcomes and Conflict Resolution. Activities and role-plays take place throughout the seminar giving students an opportunity to practice the theories.

Business Ethics in Corporate Culture
This is an introductory seminar in the area of business ethics: dilemmas which modern businesses face. Often individuals are caught with personal and organizational conflicts due to competing values. What is the source(s) upon which our values and behaviors are based? What are the differences between what is moral, legal and ethical behavior and codes of conduct? These are the questions this short seminar will address. Through the use of films, group discussions and presentations the seminar will be an exciting, thought-provoking learning experience
