• Semester by semester, you will develop a portfolio which demonstrates the strength of your communication skills and speaking abilities. This will make you more competitive when you apply for that first job.
  
  
• As a Communication Studies major, you will have the opportunity to conduct an independent research project with guidance from an instructor. Your project can explore any area of communications that is not discussed in current courses.
  
  
• A minor in Communication Studies is also offered, providing a great supplement to any other field of study. You will learn important skills in persuasion, writing, speaking and conflict management, key to success in the workplace.
