(PHR/SPHR Preparation Course)
Lewis University offers a Human Resource Management Certification Preparation Program that provides human resource professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the six functional areas of human resource management as defined by the profession. The course uses the SHRM Learning System.
This 12-week program serves as a review/study course for those seeking Professional Human Resource (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) certification through the exam process administered by the Human Resources Certificate Institute (HRCI).
Other professionals and HR specialists desiring an increased understanding of management issues will also find this course most beneficial for professional development purposes.

le choice tests reflecting the types of questions on the HRCI accreditation exams.
Participants who successfully complete the course, including those who choose not to take the HRCI exam, will receive Certificates of Completion from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and 36 contact hours.

(GPHR Preparation Course)
Lewis University offers the SHRM GPHR Certification Preparation program as a course of study to prepare HR professionals to take the GPHR Certification exam. In the current global business environment all HR professionals can benefit from taking this program. The sessions are offered online to facilitate the schedules of working adults.
The course uses the Global Learning System provided by SHRM which features:
- Global content based on the GPHR body of knowledge and practices from six countries/regions, including Canada, China, European Union, India, United Kingdom, and the United States.
