Criminal Justice AA to BA Partnership Program

Moraine Valley Community College students can now earn their associate's degree from MVCC and their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Lewis University in just four years.

Degree Format
This 128 credit hour program includes 80 credit hours of MVCC coursework and 48 credit hours from Lewis University. Upon completion of the program, you will receive your associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Moraine Valley Community College and your Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Lewis University.

Instruction Location
All coursework will be taught at Moraine Valley Community College and Lewis University's Tinley Park campus. The student completes the 80 hours of coursework from MVCC to fulfill the requirements for the AA in Criminal Justice at MVCC. Your remaining 48 hours will take place at Lewis University's Tinley Park campus.

Discounted Tuition

The 80 credit hours of MVCC coursework will be completed at MVCC tuition rates. The final 48 credit hours of Lewis University courses will be billed at a significantly reduced rate. Students enrolled through this partnership will automatically receive a 40% tuition discount for each credit hour they take at Lewis.

Who can enroll in the program?
  • Students who are enrolled in or have completed the Criminal Justice Associates of Arts degree at MVCC may be considered for admission
  • Students must complete the courses outlined in the MVCC/Lewis Enhanced 2+2 academic plan at MVCC prior to enrolling in any Lewis courses as part of the program
  • New students to MVCC who indicate their intent to enter the partnership program
