The Legend of Lady Ilena

Although Ilena, daughter of Moren and Grenna, has lived in the Vale of Enfert for all of her fifteen years, it is not her true home. Her parents refused to speak about the place they came from or their lineage. Ilena only knows that her destiny does not lie in the Vale. After the death of both her parents, her questions remain unanswered. Her father’s final words to her provide a single clue: “Go to Dun Alyn. Find Ryamen.” Ilena sets out alone on the dangerous trip across the Scottish terrain, certain only that Dun Alyn is a fortress somewhere in the East. Her quest leads her to hill forts, over mountain passes, into burial mounds, and through banquet halls. Will Ilena find the answers to her questions?
