College of Business

The College of Business offers a comprehensive business curriculum for traditional undergraduate students and working adults who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Close proximity to the city of Chicago provides our students with numerous options for internships and projects.

Our faculty bring a wealth of real world experience to the classroom. We prepare ethical leaders for careers in virtually every business sector. Notable alumni include Joseph Perrino, President and CEO of Home Run Inn, and Bryan Durkin, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the CME Group (formerly the Chicago Board of Trade).

International business exposure is a key component of a student’s experience at Lewis. Business majors have the opportunity to travel to such countries as China and India to meet with companies doing business in our global marketplace.

Students will also be able to gain experience in using technology to make presentations, analyze data for decision making and learn about how to protect a company’s information resources. Technology is a tool used in every business, no matter how small or large.
Adult students are able to continue to work full-time while attending evening or online classes. We offer accelerated undergraduate and graduate programs at several convenient locations – Oak Brook, Shorewood, and Romeoville. Most of our classes are 8-weeks in length, and we encourage interested students to enroll throughout the year.

The College of Business is a member and candidate for accreditation by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs. We are members of the Project Management Institute.
