COURSE: 10-496 Entrepreneurship in Digital Communication (3)
The rise of Internet technology and the steep decline of traditional media organizations has created an opportunity for students to leverage their skill base into profit making businesses. This course builds on all areas throughout the communication discipline and focuses those skills on an online start-up based on the studentís area of focus. During the semester students will go through the process of coming up with an idea to designing a business plan, to presenting their plan to a panel at the end of the semester.
