COURSE: 30-201 Foundations of Professional Nursing (2)
This course relates theoretical and empirical knowledge from the humanities and the physical and behavioral sciences to the practice of nursing. The course reviews the historical origins of nursing and emphasizes concepts that relate to the theoretical foundations of nursing, professionalism, communication and healthcare delivery. Prerequisite: Second-semester Sophomore Nursing major status; and consent of the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
