COURSE: LI-320 Construction Safety, Program Planning and Development (3)
Introduces students to occupational safety hazards associated with the construction industry; emphasis is placed upon recognition, evaluation, and control of safety hazards particularly related to the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). Students will learn how to plan, implement, and manage safety management programs. Safety training and its economic impact will be included in the course. Students completing this course will be eligible for OSHA safety certification. Prerequisite: All construction prerequisite courses; L2-106.
