COURSE: 78-498 Fieldwork Internship (9)
This course reinforces social work knowledge and values by providing 450 hours of experience in community agencies during the semester. Students and designated Field Instructors supported by a Field Education Director design an experience that integrates and enhances course work and promotes entry into the social work profession. Students work and learning experience is directed by the Field Instructor in collaboration with the departmentís Field Education Director. Prerequisite: Consent of Department Chair. Pre/co-requisite: 78-310 Practice III. Co-requisite: Concurrent enrollment in 78-497 Senior Seminar.
