SPECIALIZATION E: AGING ADULTS: THE FAMILY AND SOCIETY
This specialization prepares students to work as professionals in an array of settings with aging adults, their families, and the community. The specialization provides generalist skills and knowledge pertaining to aging. It also offers a knowledge base that will support the application of theory and research to practical problems of human adjustment and development at later stages of the life cycle. This specialization also prepares students for graduate school. An additional two courses will be added to the requirements of students who plan to pursue graduate school.
