SPECIALIZATION B: CRISIS INTERVENTION
More and more social service agencies are incorporating the Crisis Intervention Model for helping people. This specialization introduces the student to the Crisis Intervention Model as it is used to help people in crisis situations: medical, financial, emotional, and social. Students are prepared upon graduation to work in social service agencies with all types of people in need, especially with people experiencing crisis. This specialization also prepares students for graduate school. An additional two courses will be added to the requirements of students who plan to pursue graduate school.
